At Wear Moi, each Leotards tells a story. That of French know-how, a passion for dance and a requirement shared by all our teams. Behind each model, there are hours of research, testing and adjustments to create a garment that moves with elegance and precision.
It all starts with the material
Even before the first drawing, our teams go in search of the perfect fabrics.
Flexible, resistant, comfortable, the materials must meet the requirements of dancers around the world.
We work with specialized suppliers and test each fabric: resistance, elasticity, solidity, resistance to washing. These tests are essential because a Leotards dance must be as efficient as it is aesthetic.
The design takes shape
Once the materials have been selected, our artistic director imagines the future silhouettes.
His sketches translate the spirit of the new collection: modern lines, refined details, play on textures or transparency.
These ideas are then transformed by our design office into complete technical files: measurements, accessories, finishes. This is a key stage, where creativity meets precision.

The art of the prototype
Each prototype is made in our workshop in La Garde, in the south of France.
Our pattern makers create the first patterns and assemble the prototypes by hand. Then come several fitting sessions, where our artistic director checks every cut, every seam, every movement.
Sometimes it takes several tries to get the perfect result.
We like to combine different materials, which makes the design more complex, but allows us to obtain that unique rendering that makes the signature Wear Moi.
Fittings: dance at the heart of the process
When the models are ready, we have them tried on by dancers of all ages and levels.
Their feedback is valuable: comfort, support, aesthetics, feeling in movement... nothing escapes our attention.
It is this listening to the field that allows us to adjust the cuts and offer Leotards both technical and elegant, made to last.
From workshop to collection
Once the prototype is validated, we launch production.
The fabrics are ordered, the sizes graded, the colors harmonized. Our teams take care of every detail, from the first seam to the final label.
At the same time, we are preparing the photo shoot which will highlight the new collection. Each image reflects our commitment: that of French dance house which combines high standards, creativity and elegance.
